Intensive Therapy weekends provide participants with an extended period of time to focus on themselves and go deeply into their feelings in a group setting with the help of two or more therapists.
Intensives are intended for current or former clients.
There are many benefits to intensive experiences:
- The development of trust that results from sharing pain in the open
- Longer sessions to experience present reactions fully with their connection to past pain
- The validation received seeing and hearing others struggle to mend their lives
- Learning to use the process of therapy more independently
The Intensive consists of individual attention for each participant, group processing where participants share only what they want to share, and free time to write in a journal and do other suggested activities.
